As I create this, I have a sense of pride. Ever since I was little I have adored photography. I was the one that liked the photos and drawings more than the words. Though now I appreciate both, photography is my passion.

I remember that I did not like getting my picture taken growing up, still don't, but now I can appreciate it. Every photo offers up a story; a memory that can cause any feeling in the world. I want to hold on to every memory, every tale, and I have a hunger to help others be able to do the same.

​

I got my first DSLR (for those who aren't camera savvy, it's a digital single-lens reflex, and in short is a bit more professional than a point and shoot) in spring of 2015. Since the start, I have grown with my photography. I made a big leap in to portrait photography during that time. So, I began setting up shoots and using my friends as models. They obliged, probably because they wanted quality photos for their instagram, but that didn't matter to me; I was building my portfolio.

By winter 2015, I was starting to crave more. I branched out in my friend group and created stories for each shoot. With each photoshoot I felt like I was finally getting somewhere.

​

So that's where I'm continuing. I want to spread happiness, joy and loads of stories with my work.
